In Chinese Medicine these are caused by disturbances in your ‘heart channel’ - this doesn’t mean there is anything wrong with your actual heart so don’t worry! When your heart is unsettled due to stress, a shock, fear or emotional turmoil you won’t be able to sleep well which only serves to make you feel worse the following day – a vicious circle. You may have a red tip to your tongue and your heart pulse on your left wrist will probably feel different to normal.

After taking a full history of your signs and symptoms and how the panic attacks manifest in you I will be able to devise a treatment plan that specifically treats you.

Points on the heart channel will definitely be used along with whatever else needs treating in your particular case. The heart channel is on the inside of your arms.

Most people start to see a significant difference after 3 or 4 treatments and we carry on until all signs of the panic attacks have disappeared – usually 7 or 8 although every one is a little different. So far 80% of people presenting with panic attacks have left the clinic restored to health.
